The COVID-19 vaccines promised to 1) stop the transmission of COVID-19, 2) reduce the viral load in COVID cases, 3) provide long-term protection, and 4) reduce severe symptoms associated with COVID-19. Three of the four promised benefits of the vaccines were proven to be wrong. Is it that far of a stretch to suspect that the final promise is highly questionable too? If you receive three falsehoods with no apologies, why would you expect the forth promise to be true?
